Hey Mom and Family,
I am doing well, this morning is pretty nice with the temperatures at a good temperature. This is going to be a short letter today, we are going to Ann Arbor again. It is always fun going down there checking out the campus and a few stores. My coat is just fine, I need to sew some buttons on, most of them fell off this past spring.
These past two transfers have been really good, we have seen so many new miracles, and blessings. Elder G is the man! I hope that you can make it down to Alpine next Sunday, he still doesn't know what his topic is on. He thinks that there probably going to have him talk about his mission experiences. But there are a lot of experiences to fit into twenty minutes, or however long he has. And to go out with a bang, there were four investigators at church today.
That is cool that you went to L's farewell, I bet he did an awesome job. Were there many people at the church? And was it at that new church on 2300?
So everything is going well, I will find out who my new companion will be tomorrow. I hope that we can assist in helping the C ward grow as we have seen in the past couple of months. That is cool that Elder W & Elder S are going to be staying for another transfer, I hope that they are finding success down there.
I love you mom, and thank you for all that you have and are doing for me. I hope that everything will go well at work this week. Oh and that is AWESOME that you are CONSISTENTLY reading your scriptures. Keep up the good work. Oh last of all I saw some pictures of the Ogden temple (well the remnants of it) on the Deseret News website. It is crazy.

November 7, 2011 (Week 45)
Hello Mom,
I am doing well, the snow has yet to fall in Michigan. Sounds like you are having a harder time with winter coming in Utah, than we are here in Michigan. But soon the snow will fall, we have been having freezing temp. lately. I finally sent the Carey's their letter last week. And yeah we had been working with C H for the last transfer that I was there. I didn't know how long it was going to take before she got baptized. Before I read your email today I read updates from the mission office, and it said that she had been baptized. That is awesome. I bet we have an impact on those around us, but sometimes it seems like the work is stagnating. But you never know the impact you will have on other.
That is so cool that L is going to to the MTC next week, I am going to write him a letter today and send it out on like Friday. He is going to do great. Have you heard much about Elder P? I was thinking this morning that I have not talked to, or written him in like a year. So if you could get me his mission office address that would be cool. Elder S sent me an email a couple of weeks ago talking about that we are already on our year marks.
The lesson we had with D was pretty sweet. We met with him for the third time; at the end of the lesson we were talking about him quiting smoking. He was planning on quiting the week before he was baptized. Then Elder G asked him what would be holding him back from quiting Friday. Then he was all I really don't know. Then he went and grabbed all of his tobacco and gave it to us. That was the second time that someone had given all of their tobacco to us. And then we picked up another investigator, it was like the second or third week I had been here and we tracted into this sweet lady. And then we were finally able to make an appointment with her. So on Thursday we were able to teach her. And she was talking about bringing her parents to church.
So all is swell here. And have you been reading your scriptures everyday? I love you and keep up the good work. I love you and I am so thankful for all that you have done for me, so that I could be here out on my mission this day.

Trick or "Treat"s from the Mission!
October 31, 2011(Week 44(Day 300))
Yo Mom,
Yeah everything is going well, it is Halloween. Did the ward have e a trunker treat? We had such an awesome trunker treat party at the ward on Friday. The lady from the ward that did the decorations went above and beyond decorating. It was just an awesome party to go to. She had strung leave across the gym, and in the middle they made a spider out of a trash bag, and put purple lights in the eyes. And one of the members brought a bowl of salsa, but he had put ghost peppers in it. If you don't know what those are they are the hottest pepper in the world. My companion went back for seconds and took a pretty big helping of it. And he paid for it later. We had a lot of involvement from the ward, both is active and less/inactive members. It was just so cool. And we also got a lot of "let me guess you are missionaries", but one member had a good comment for us "are you Jehovah witnesses?"
And yesterday I was so happy, one of our investigators came to church. We have been meeting with him for about two weeks and the time before we went on Friday we left him with a pamphlet for the Plan of Salvation. And he actually had filled out all of the answers in the back and had read all of it; and he read a bit from the Book Of Mormon. He was only able to stay for sacrament meeting because he had stayed up to late. He even went up after sacrament meeting and talked with one of the speakers. At our lesson on Friday he told us that he is planning on being baptized this year.
Last Monday we had another awesome lesson with another new investigator. His fiancee has been a member of the ward for most of her life. He is just so prepared to learn more about the Gospel. The lesson went so smooth, and we were able to teach it in twenty minutes, and he was answering our questions and was involved.
Yeah Elder G. and L are switching places on November 16. That is so awesome that D is going to New Zealand, we had a visa waiter that came to our mission for a little bit. Does he go in on January 4th? That would be funny.
Thank you for all that you do for me, and keep on doing so well with reading the Book Of Mormon. Has N been doing the same? And it is good to hear that work is picking up.
I love you and have a good week.

October 24, 2011 (Week 43)
Hola Mom,
Wazzzzz up? Yeah everything is going swell in Michigan, I saw frost on one of the buildings this week. I am going into the same weather that I started off in. Crazy huh? But that is AWESOME that you have been reading you Book Of Mormon everyday. I am so proud of you. I was thinking during personal study to day after reading through the Gospel blesses families. I was thinking of how when I come home and even before that, that we need to read the Book Of Mormon every night as a family before we go to bed. I can't think of the scripture that I came across but it is in Deuteronomy. And I also was thinking that when I come home, I want to go with all of my imitate family (that has gone through the temple) to the temple.
Mom you are just AWESOME. When I got your package this week, that day I was wanting some of that cinnamon burst bread. And then I got the package and there it was a loaf of that bread. I finished off the bread single handedly, but I did share that candy and cookies. Elder G. said that he wants some when you come to his welcome home. Next week I will get you the address to his church and what time.
THAT IS CRAZY THAT THE NEIGHBORS ARE MOVING! That is going to be such a change in the hood. And that is not good that Brother S. got hurt. And that is crazy that they are already back from their mission already. But time does fly.
Yesterday we went to conference with a less active member of the ward, in his 2012 Ford Mustang. I think that that was the first time that I sat in a Mustang. It was a nice ride, and he is a funny guy. And can he talk, he is a realtor. We just need to get him out to church more often.
And for your questions: (1) No I have yet to write her, and yes I did promise her. I hope that S can get feeling better, and that they can get to the temple soon.
(2) Yes I got your package, thank you for all of the treats that you sent. And Elder G. says thank you too. He loved the cookies, and so did I.
(3)Yeah you can send me out a copy of the Ensign, it would be greatly appreciated.
I love you and thank you for the package again, and keep on reading the Book Of Mormon every day.
